Clean up your photo gallery with a swipe
Swipeek turns photo cleanup into a two-second decision. Swipe right to keep, left to bin, then delete everything in one confirmed step. Your photos never leave your phone — no account, no cloud, no ads.
Free on the App Store and Google Play. iOS 15+ and Android 11+.
On a computer?
Point your phone camera at the code to open Swipeek in your app store.

Twenty thousand photos. Four of them are worth keeping.
Screenshots you took once, eleven near-identical shots of the same sunset, videos you never watched again. Deleting them one by one in the system gallery takes an evening, so nobody does it — and the phone keeps asking for more storage.
Swipeek makes the decision small enough to actually make: one photo, one swipe, and the phone remembers where you stopped.
Built for one job, done properly
One photo, one decision
A stack of cards, one photo at a time. Swipe right to keep it, left to bin it, up to mark it a favourite. Buttons underneath do the same thing if you would rather tap than swipe.
Month by month
Your library is split into months with a real progress bar — 128 of 342 reviewed. Close the app mid-month and it opens on the same card, even after a restart.
Nothing is deleted behind your back
Binned photos wait in Swipeek's own trash. You see how much space they will free, you can put any of them back with a tap, and the actual deletion happens only after you confirm it — twice, since the system asks too.
Ten steps back
Changed your mind three photos ago? Undo walks back through the last ten decisions and puts the card right where it was.
Built to feel native
Haptics tuned per action, a swipe with real physics, three animation presets, and full respect for your system Reduce Motion setting. It behaves like a system app because it is built like one.
Yours to tune
Invert the swipe direction, change the trigger threshold, pick what the up swipe does, choose what the card shows, set a daily goal. Every setting applies instantly — no restart, no "apply" button.
Start where the clutter is
Some photos do not need thinking about. Swipeek finds them for you and lets you clear them in one sweep.
- Screenshots — Usually the single biggest pile on any phone.
- Exact duplicates — Found by comparing the images themselves, on your device.
- Similar shots — The eleven frames of one moment, grouped so you keep the best.
- Largest files — The handful of videos quietly eating gigabytes.
- Live Photos (iOS) — Keep the still frame, drop the motion and its file size.

Three steps, one evening
- 1
Give access to your photos
Swipeek reads your library; nothing is copied anywhere.
- 2
Swipe through a month
Keep, bin, undo. Two seconds per photo.
- 3
Confirm once, free the space
Review the trash, delete everything you marked, see how much you got back.

Safe by design
Deleting photos is the one thing you cannot take back, so Swipeek makes it deliberate. Everything you bin waits in the app until you confirm, and the confirmation tells you exactly how much space you are about to get back.

Your photos never leave your phone.
Most photo cleaners ask you to sign in, then upload thumbnails "for processing". Swipeek has no account and no cloud to upload them to. Your photos, their thumbnails and anything computed from them stay on the device.
Duplicate detection runs on your device. Your progress lives in a local database on your phone. The only photos that ever leave the app are the ones you send yourself: through the system share sheet, the Photos app or your mail client.

Every knob you would expect
Swipe direction, trigger threshold, animation preset and speed, haptics per action, what the card shows, month order, daily goal, theme and language. Changes apply the moment you make them.

Questions people ask
Does Swipeek upload my photos anywhere?
No. Your photos, their thumbnails and anything computed from them never leave your device. There is no account and no cloud — everything, including duplicate detection, happens on your phone.
How does Swipeek find duplicate photos?
It compares the images themselves using a perceptual hash computed on your phone, so it catches both exact copies and near-identical shots from the same burst. Nothing is sent anywhere for analysis.
What happens to the photos I bin?
They wait in Swipeek's trash until you confirm deletion. Then they are deleted through the system, which asks for a confirmation of its own.
I deleted photos but my storage did not change. Why?
On iOS, deleted photos go to the Recently Deleted album and stay there for 30 days. Empty that album in the Photos app to free the space right away.
Can I undo a swipe?
Yes. Undo steps back through the last ten decisions and returns the card.
Does Swipeek work without an internet connection?
Yes. Reviewing, duplicate detection and deletion all work offline.
Is Swipeek free? Is there a subscription?
It is free, with no subscription, no in-app purchases and no ads.
Which devices are supported?
iPhone and iPad on iOS 15 or newer, and Android phones and tablets on Android 11 or newer. Converting Live Photos to stills is iOS only.
Does it work with iCloud optimized storage?
Yes. Photos stored in iCloud are fetched as you reach them, which can take a moment on a slow connection. Swipeek never uploads anything of its own.
